Thousands of years before the Vikings and eventually the Europeans some time later, Indigenous people lived on the land. European settlers quickly swept in a occupied many of the territories that still exist today. The Sevens Years War and The War of Spanish Succession saw France slowly losing land in the North American lands and eventually lost New France which is their only colony in North America in the Treaty of Paris which ended the Seven Year's War. After the Sevens' Year War, Britian was broke and started taxing the 13 colonies heavily. Because of this and numerous other reasons, the 13 American colonies declared Independence from Britian and founded the United States of America.

The Legislative Branch of the Government is made of the United States congress. Congress is made of two parts. The House of Representative and the Senate. The Legislative Branch makes laws. The executive branch is made of the President, Vice President and Cabinet. They carry out and enforce laws. The Judicial Branch is made of the Supreme Court of the United States and other federal courts. They interpret the laws.
The US has the largest econmy in the world. It account for about a quarter of the global GDP. The United States is the largest importer and the second largest exporter. The US has the largest military's spending in the world and has the largest Armed Forces in the world. It accounts for a third of all military spending by any country combined. The U.S only accounts for 4.2% of the global population even though it account for 29.4% of the global wealth.
